Mosaic Workshop

Join mosaic artist Sadie Rowlands for an enjoyable and relaxing morning learning the art of mosaic making.  Sadie will guide you through how to select and cut recycled bone china, ceramic and glass mosaic tile and to assemble your very own design.  You will also be taught how to grout and finish your mosaic.

Whether you come with a plan in mind or looking for inspiration, there will be lots of ideas to spark your creativity.  With a wide choice of wooden bases suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the options include hotplates, mirrors and house number plaques, to name a few.  Hangers will be provided to make the finished artwork into a decorative piece for your home/garden or as a gift for someone special.

The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those wanting to expand their mosaic making skills.  All materials are included, but if you have broken china feel free to bring it along to add to your piece.

Please make sure to wear covered shoes for the workshop!
